چکیده

Yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici) on bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) has resulted in significant reductions the yield losses and grain quality. Infection rate to yellow disease evaluation of SPAD value 90 soft genotypes we studied been implemented conditions Absheron Peninsula, territory Experimental Base ANAS ( N. 40°24.001? , E. 49°49.001? H. = 50 m. ) 2017-2020 years. was 0-100 S. An indicator changed from 28.9 83.5 between genotypes. The average this symptom 50.5. sample with highest genotype k9530 belonging Erythrospermum variety, which had an 83.5. 0 showed immune reaction. Different as can be seen appreciation resistance for different infection rates values. As a result evaluation, although there partial conformity, full sameness not observed. Some high values rust. cluster analysis is based Euclidean distance index WARD method PAST statistical software package. have grouped into 6 main clusters according indicated tokens. According euclidean index, farthest were variety k7252 Milturum (54.63). It explained by fact that they belong variety.

Effect of yellow rust disease on agronomic and physiological characteristics of winter and facultative bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars

To investigate the effect of yellow rust disease on some agronomic and physiological characteristics of bread wheat cultivars, two field experiments were conducted in Agricultural Research Station of Miandoab in West Azerbaijan, Iran, in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 cropping seasons. Experimental treatments were arranged as factorial in randomized complete block design with three replications. Treat...

Differential Physiological Responses of Portuguese Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes under Aluminium Stress

The major limitation of cereal production in acidic soils is aluminium (Al) phytotoxicity which inhibits root growth. Recent evidence indicates that different genotypes within the same species have evolved different mechanisms to cope with this stress. With these facts in mind, root responses of two highly Al tolerant Portuguese bread wheat genotypes—Barbela 7/72/92 and Viloso mole—were investi...

Interpreting Genotype × Environment Interaction in Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes Using Nonparametric Measures

The objectives of this study were to compare nonparametric stability measures, and to identify promising high-yield and stable bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes in 7 environments during 2003-2005 in the central Black Sea region of Turkey. The bread wheat genotypes (20 advanced lines and 5 cultivars) were grown in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications in 7 different e...

Resistance Potential of Bread Wheat Genotypes Against Yellow Rust Disease Under Egyptian Climate

Yellow rust (stripe rust), caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici, is one of the most destructive foliar diseases of wheat in Egypt and worldwide. In order to identify wheat genotypes resistant to yellow rust and develop molecular markers associated with the resistance, fifty F8 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) derived from a cross between resistant and susceptible bread wheat landraces w...

Genetic Diversity of Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes Using RAPD and ISSR Molecular Markers

The importance of grain cultivation especially wheat is obvious in terms of providing human and animal food and its impact on the economy of human societies. The reduction of genetic diversity in cultivars prevents increasing yields in line with rising demand and consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the compatibility of them and increase their genetic extent. In the current, the g...
